Program Overview
Program Description & Guidelines
Chris' Corner is a parent-supported homeschool enrichment cooperative designed to provide structured academic enrichment, social learning opportunities, and peer interaction for homeschooled children.
The program operates one day per week in a rented community space and is structured to support families who have chosen to homeschool their children. The program is not a private school, special education program, therapeutic center, or clinical treatment provider.
Legal Structure
- Each parent remains the legal supervisor for their child.
- Families comply with all local homeschool regulations and evaluations.
- The program does not issue diplomas or academic credit.
- Participation complements your curriculum.
- Parents must be onsite.
Educational Model
Providing small-group enrichment, structured social opportunities, and academic support activities. Our model relies on predictable routines and visual supports to expose children to life skills. Enrichment-based—not full-time schooling.
Special Needs Inclusion
We welcome children with diverse learning needs. While sensory-aware, we are not a therapeutic provider and do not provide medical treatment. Families are responsible for coordinating therapeutic services separately.
Insurance & 1:1 Services
- Services arranged between family and provider.
- Authorized via family’s insurance plan.
- Documented separately from co-op programming.
- Medical services remain distinct from enrichment.
Staffing
The cooperative provides a lead instructor and support staff for group supervision. A predictable schedule is maintained. Parents remain responsible for disclosing all safety and behavioral needs.
Safety & Participation
Families agree to maintain open communication and provide accurate medical history. The cooperative maintains general liability insurance, safety procedures, and regular incident documentation protocols.
Tuition & Fees
- Supports facility rental and materials.
- Covers instruction and administrative costs.
- Does not cover private instruction.
- Distinct from clinical support services.
Non-Discrimination
Participation is contingent upon the program’s ability to safely support the child within the group structure. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, background, or disability.
Nurturing the Unique Path of Every Learner
We are a community-rooted homeschooling co-op dedicated to celebrating neurodiversity. Through shared resources and deep engagement, we create a sanctuary where children with diverse learning styles thrive alongside their families in an inclusive, artisanal environment.
Empowering families through the beauty of distinct discovery. — Founder, Chris' Corner
